The “Opt-Out” contract is given serious scrutiny in this video. Johnny Day provides analysis of the legal issues involved. This video presents detailed info to to help you more effectively refuse and challenge harmful and illegal programs which attempt to force you to accept dangerous policies such as spying/transmitting utility meters. This video goes into detail regarding your legal options and also provides explanation for using the powerful free documents at FreedomTaker.com which are designed to put the authority back in your hands.
AUSTIN, Texas (March 15, 2017) – A bill introduced in the Texas House would allow utility customers to opt out of installing “smart meter” technology on their homes and businesses. Passage of this bill would allow Texans to protect their own privacy, and it would take a step toward blocking a federal program in effect.
Rep. Ken King (R-Canadian) introduced House Bill 3656 (HB3656) on March 9. The legislation would allow Texas utility customers to opt out of any utility company smart meter program with no charge or penalty.
Smart meters monitor home energy usage in minute detail in real time. The devices transmit data to the utility company were it gets stored in databases. Anybody with access to the data can download it for analysts. Without specific criteria limiting access to the data, these devices create significant privacy issues. Smart meters can also be used to remotely limit power usage during peak hours.
Under the proposed law, utility companies would be required to inform customers in writing that they have the right to decline installation of a smart meter. The company would not be allowed to charge the customer for for declining installation, nor for the cost of traditional metering service. HB3656 also includes provisions giving utility customers the right to have an existing smart meter removed. The company would be allowed to charge the customer the cost of installing the replacement traditional meter.
The proliferation of smart meters creates significant privacy concerns. The data collected can tell anybody who holds it a great deal about what goes on inside a home. It can reveal when residents are at home, asleep or on vacation. It can also pinpoint “unusual” energy use, and could someday serve to help enforce “energy usage” regulations. The ACLU summarized the privacy issues surrounding smart meters in a recent report.
“The temptation to use the information that will be collected from customers for something other than managing electrical loads will be strong – as it has been for cell phone tracking data and GPS information. Police may want to know your general comings and goings or whether you’re growing marijuana in your basement under grow lights. Advertisers will want the information to sell you a new washing machine to replace the energy hog you got as a wedding present 20 years ago. Information flowing in a smart grid will become more and more ‘granular’ as the system develops.”
The privacy issues aren’t merely theoretical. According to information obtained by the California ACLU, utility companies in the state have disclosed information gathered by smart meters on thousands of customers. San Diego Gas and Electric alone disclosed data on more than 4,000 customers. The vast majority of disclosures were in response to subpoenas by government agencies “often in drug enforcement cases or efforts to find specific individuals,” according to SFGate.
“Mark Toney, executive director of the Utility Reform Network watchdog group, said the sheer number of data disclosures made by SDG&E raised the possibility that government agencies wanted to sift through large amounts of data looking for patterns, rather than conducting targeted investigations.”
Refusing to allow a smart meter on your property is the only sure-fire way to ensure your energy use data won’t fall into the hands of government agents or private marketers, or end up stored in some kind of government database. Passage of HB3656 would make opting out a legal option for Texans and give them control over their own privacy.

Video produced by ElectromagneticHealth.org on behalf of international scientists and the Appeal Committee.
Dr. Martin Blank, PhD of Columbia University says, “The time to deal with the harmful biological and health effects is long overdue. To protect our children, ourselves and our ecosystem, we must reduce exposure by establishing more protective guidelines.”
Dr. Blank is representing 190 international scientists in an Appeal to the UN, UN Member States and the WHO on the risks of electromagnetic fields emitted by telecommunications and utility technologies.
It has long been known that Smart meters communicate by means of microwave frequencies. Recent progress in understanding the phenomenon reveals the important role of not only the high frequency ranges, but also in the range of additional frequencies which are transmitted in the lower 2 to 50 kilohertz range. “Numerous studies have shown repeatedly that those very same frequencies disrupt the human nervous system. Indeed, “nerve block” is the phrase used in the studies to describe what occurs.”
This video presents close up first hand measurement of the different frequencies in play on actual smat meters in operation:
This video shares recent history of growing concern with the underlying economic and social repercussions from this massive lucrative scheme, with lots of hidden motives, risks, and costs.

Mounting research raises tremendously important questions about the long-term safety of saturating ourselves in electromagnetic frequencies. As a result, at least a dozen countries around the world have begun to adopt a precautionary approach toward cell phone use and other wireless technologies.
The World Health Organization (WHO)/International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” (Class 2B) in May of 2011.11 The classification—which also covers lead and chloroform—came in part in response to research showing wireless telephones increase the risk for brain cancer.
Since then, additional research has further strengthened the link between cancer and radiofrequency (RF) fields. According to Dr. Anthony Miller, who was on the IARC committee, the accumulated evidence is now strong enough to suggest RF fields really should be classified as a 2A or “probable carcinogen.”
With Whom Does Responsibility of Safety Reside?
Alas, in the US, both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) have chosen to ignore the evidence of health risks associated with cell phones. As noted by the Environmental Working Group in a recent guide4 to safer cell phone usage:
“The FCC adopted radiation standards developed by the cell phone industry 17 years ago. These standards, still in use, allow 20 times more radiation to reach the head than the rest of the body. They do not Continue reading
Earlier this week, an article was posted at this website quoting a doctor who indicated that Wireless Smart Meters Can Cause Illness. This article made reference to a 92-case series documenting health effects believed to be caused by exposure to smart meter emissions.
A couple of days subsequent to the report on this website, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine released a new document entitled, “Wireless Smart Meter Case Studies,” which discloses the following information:
AAEM physicians and physicians world-wide are treating patients who report adverse, debilitating health effects following the installation of smart meters, which emit electromagnetic frequencies (EMF) and radiofrequencies (RF).
The peer reviewed, scientific literature demonstrates the correlation between EMF/RF exposure and neurological, cardiac, and pulmonary disease as well as reproductive disorders, immune dysfunction, cancer and other health conditions. The evidence is irrefutable. Despite this research, claims have been made that Continue reading
Acute and chronic exposure to RF (radio-frequency) and MW (microwave) radiation can, even at very low power-densities, lead to not only the negative health effects shown in this video, but calcium ion damage in cells, endothelial cell dysfunction, nitric oxide depletion, oxidative stress, melatonin disruption, blood-brain-barrier leakage, DNA damage, sperm damage and more. Glucose metabolism changes within the brain are observable after just minutes of cell phone use.
The mechanisms for damage from non-thermal, non-ionising radiation exposure are now becoming clear.
Researchers from England, Holland and Sweden have shown great interest for the biology experiment made by the five girls. Photo: By the girls from 9.b By Mathias Bohn
Take 400 cress seeds and distribute them in 12 trays. Then you place 6 trays in 2 rooms with the same temperature. You give the trays the same amount of water and sunlight over 12 days and remember that the 6 trays in one room is also exposed to mobile radiation.
This is the recipe for a biology experiment så genious, that it has created international sensation among recognised biologists and radiation experts. Behind the experiment are five girls from 9.b in Hjallerup school in northern Jutland in Denmark, and it all started with these girls noticing that they had problems with focus and concentration in the school:
– We all felt that we had experienced concentration problems in the school if we had been sleeping with the mobile phone next to our heads and sometimes it was difficult to sleep, explains Lea Nielsen, who is one of the ‘sprouting’ researchers.
The school did not have equipment to test the effect of mobile radiation on themselves, but that was probably good as the girls had to Continue reading
WASHINGTON (WUSA) — Several Pepco customers say they’re experiencing irregular heartbeats, headaches, and dizziness after wireless smart meters were installed at their homes.
Smart Meters communicate with utility companies using wireless technology, which means they emit the same kind of radiation as cell phones.
“Ever since this smart meter was installed, I’ve been dizzy and my heart’s been beating fast,” said Hepsie Bohman, a Pepco customer who lives in Potomac. “I even went to my doctor and I was informed that I now have an irregular heart rate.”
Bohman’s next-door neighbor, Laura Simon, says she too has experienced similar symptoms after her old, analog meter was replaced with Continue reading
China Telecom, the country’s state-owned telecommunications operator, plans to reach 30 million users for its fiber optic broadband service this year, and have the entire country run on fiber optic infrastructure in three years.
Under the Five-Year Plan, the Chinese government will focus heavily on developing the telecommunications infrastructure, with total investments reaching 2 trillion yuan (roughly $300 billion), around 80 percent of which is allocated for broadband development. The big plan? To cover every city in China with the fiber broadband service in three years and convert all copper lines to fiber, China Daily reported.
China Telecom chairman Wang Xiaochu states that Internet infrastructure in China has great potential. The country boasts the world’s largest user base at 457 million customers, but that figure accounts for only 30% of China’s population. Fiber optics would provide those users Continue reading

Wednesday morning a document was leaked that reveals President Obama’s plans to surrender American sovereignty to international tribunals. This is one of several frightening provisions of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (also known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP) being negotiated in secret by American trade representatives.
In the now-public document, as part of its membership in the TPP, the United States would agree to exempt foreign corporations from our laws and regulations, placing the resolution of any disputes as to the applicability of those matters to foreign business in the hands of an international arbitration tribunal overseen by the Secretary General of the United Nations.
The leaked information confirms Continue reading
Editor’s Note: This is the final article in a series about smart meters and the technology that critics fear could allow utilities and government to monitor how and for what reason energy is used inside your home. The first article explained the “other purposes” government has for the technology. The second article discussed the dangers from meters that explode or ignite.
Smart meters have been associated with privacy issues, data security issues, and fire safety issues, but the biggest danger from RF (radio frequency) meters may be from the signals they give off while reporting their data to the central utility office.
If there was ever any doubt as to whether or not the Smart Grid aspect of UN Agenda 21 is marching forward, recent developments in Boulder, Colorado should dispel such skepticism. Likewise, these developments should also make clear that so-called Smart technology is about much more than simply cost saving. (Click to Enlarge)
The relevant part of this story starts as far back as 2007 when Boulder entered into an agreement with Xcel Energy to Continue reading

OTTAWA – Schools should not install wireless Internet systems because the technology is linked to learning disabilities, headaches and immune system deficiencies, according to an international association of physicians.
The American Academy of Environmental Medicine, which is holding a conference on the brain and nervous system this week in Florida, says safer alternatives should be used instead of Wi-Fi.
“Adverse health effects from wireless radio frequency fields, such as learning disabilities, altered immune responses, and headaches, clearly exist and are well documented in the scientific literature,” the academy said in a statement on its website. “Safer technology, such as use of hard-wiring, is strongly recommended in schools.”
The American Academy of Pediatrics has also called for a review of government safety limits for electromagnetic radiation because of the growing number of wireless devices that are part of children’s lives.
In 2011, the World Health Organization classified radiation emitted by wireless devices, including cellphones and wireless Internet, as possibly carcinogenic. Despite this classification, Health Canada still says Wi-Fi is safe.
Dr. Jennifer Armstrong, an Ottawa-based doctor who works an environmental health clinic, says it is important to practise precaution, especially with kids. She is the former president of AAEM.
“They’re more vulnerable. Their skulls are smaller, their brains are still developing. We don’t want to start treating any permanent damage in these kids,” Armstrong said. “If they’re going to have trouble learning while at school or if they’re developing immune system problems … we don’t need to contribute more to it with something we can prevent.”
Tory MP Terence Young has called for a review of Safety Code 6, the framework for industry guidelines on radiation exposure in Canada.
“My constituents believe that Safety Code 6 is outdated, and there are a number of studies that have come out in the last year that they haven’t taken into consideration,” Young said in an interview with QMI Agency.

Smart Grid: The Implementation of Technocracy?
by Patrick Wood, Editor, March 2, 2010
Introduction: According to the United Nations Governing Council of the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), “our dominant economic model may thus be termed a ‘brown economy.” UNEP’s clearly stated goal is to overturn the “brown economy” and replace it with a “green economy”:
“A green economy implies the decoupling of resource use and environmental impacts from economic growth… These investments, both public and private, provide the mechanism for the reconfiguration of businesses, infrastructure and institutions, and for the adoption of sustainable consumption and production processes.” (p. 2) Sustainable Consumption? Reconfiguring businesses, infrastructure and institutions? What do these words mean? They do not mean merely reshuffling the existing order, but rather
replacing it with a completely new economic system, one that has never before been seen or used in the history of the world.
This paper will demonstrate that the current crisis of capitalism is being used to
implement a radical new economic system that will completely supplant it. This is
not some new idea created in the bowels of the United Nations: It is a revitalized implementation of Technocracy that was thoroughly repudiated by the American public in 1933, in the middle of the Great Depression. Continue reading

The following video documents step by step, the incontrovertable scientific reality of the health damaging influence from the proliferation of wireless technologies. Then, with presentation of public record documentation of the involvement, actions, and enormous profits of the decision makers sponsoring the government mandated implementation and “new product line” engineering of continuous increasing revenue streams from all forms of this technology , it clearly demonstrates the systemically corrupt process and machinations which are shaping the steady and rapid decline of the quality of life and well being for virtually all inhabitants of earth.
It is more than worth the time to watch it all. Either all at once, or break it into chunks, please do whatever it takes to digest this very important wake up call, and consider what to do to eliminate this very real immediate threat to humanity.
1. Within the Playbook, broadband is often used synonymously with wireless. It should not be.Fiber optic is a far better option for broadband delivery. Fiber optic broadband is the state-of-the-art gold standard in broadband. It is far and away the highest speed, highest capacity, and most reliable option for broadband. Wireless isn’t even close. Furthermore, it is safe, secure, and energy efficient. (For additional information, please see http://www.electricalpollution.com/FundFiberNOTWireless.html)2. Wireless broadband is not going to be Continue reading
Dr Magda Havas:
July 26, 2012. When I am asked to testify as an expert witnessat a hearing, I am asked to submit a written document that will accompany my oral testimony. The question I address in my expert testimony is, “What scientific evidence do we have that this form of energy (low frequency electromagnetic fields, radio frequency radiation, or whatever) is harmful below guidelines?”
But that is not the question adjudicators want to hear. They want scientists to Continue reading
Within our international organization the person who is considered most responsible for the presentation of research on such a subject as the effects of EMF is Steve Glickman. At the request of Dr. Eike Hartmann, Steve has drafted a letter evaluating the research.
That letter follows, with the three attachments to which he refers attached to this letter, slightly edited. All parties have Steve’s permission and mine to share this material in any way with the community.
