Important online Petition to opt-out with Analog meters At the recent November Iowa Utilities Board Hearing, Alliant claimed that only 16% of the opt-out calls they received requested analog meters. In order to win the right to keep or get analog meters instead of digital meters, we must have as many names (and account numbers as possible, stating your preference for analog meters. If you don’t call Alliant Energy to opt out of having a smart meter, they assume that you want a smart meter.
