What is a Brief, and Why is it so Important? The Brief is a written argument, delivered to the IUB once the hearing is completed. It’s purpose is to convince the Board, through compelling reasons, based on evidence and law presented at the hearing, to grant our requests to provide maximum protection for the public from smart meters. The Brief gives you a clear and precise overview of our challenge, and is important because it is our last opportunity to persuade the IUB before they make their final decision.
